Queen Elizabeth II has passed away at the age of 96, Buckingham Palace has announced. Her reign lasted 70 years, making her the longest-serving British monarch and female head of state in history.
The Queen's doctors placed her under "medical supervision" at her residence in Balmoral Castle in Scotland, on Thursday, after becoming concerned with her health.

I had previously expected Charles to pass the title to Will pretty fast. But looks like he is settling in.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Highly unlikely, his mother had drummed into him that service is the most important thing and to abdicate his responsibilities would completely go against that. If his parents are anything to go by we've got a good 20 years of King Charles III.

Yeah it's odd to see people think he would only last five years on the throne when both of his parents lived well into their late 90's. I imagine short of some genetic health issue, he will do the same.
